Amaka Yvonne Onyemenam

Graduated from the University of Warwick with a law degree, Amaka moved back to Nigeria and was soon called to the Nigerian Bar. A qualified Project Manager; Amaka is currently working as a Legal Officer with the Federal Government of Nigeria. She is passionate about influencing social and public policy; particularly poverty reduction and mental and sexual health issues in Africa. A former Publicity/External Liaisons executive of the Nigerian Society at Warwick; Amaka is enthusiastic about the promotion and development of her home country. Amaka enjoys long-reads and continues to progress her passion for poetry via a blog. She is a contributing writer for Culture Custodian and an active volunteer for the Sickle Cell Aid Foundation.

Deola is focused on continuous learning & networking, with the purpose of adding value to the sustainable development of grassroots communities. He is also actively involved with Africa-centric developmental initiatives via collaborations, to facilitate the productivity of youths – especially within the African diaspora (Check out Leanwords.com)
