Who We Are
Through partnerships with NGOs/NPOs/individuals with shared focus, ICANA creates a platform whereby efforts towards social growth and development can be consolidated. ICANA works in cohort with social developmental organizations to expedite programs that positively develop communities within Africa.
A phase of the ICANA initiative is to promote the efforts of NGOs and devise avenues via which resources can be channeled, internally, towards actualizing set goals. One of such means is creating a system among NGOs/NPOs whereby each organization can interact directly with networked organizations and seed or map out strategies of unified operation(s) to promote a consensual and established cause.
ICANA creates a seamless transition among networked organizations whereby resources (financial, manpower, infrastructural et al) are made available, hereby attempting to reduce the burden of scouting for ‘external’ assistance, alone. Through meticulous research and evaluation, the criteria upon which networked organizations will be selected are guaranteed to ensure a resourceful base with a variety of opportunities to be gained by every cell within the network. ICANA will not be targeting financially established organizations, as this negates the purpose of mutual networking. Rather, ICANA will be supporting young organizations that possess authentic/genuine interest in the African developmental cause. With these young organizations, ICANA appreciates the genuinity and focus towards a common goal.
Furthermore, due to the size and structure of these networked organizations, it is appreciated that no one organization is self-sufficient and as such, ICANA will support the growth of these organizations and most importantly, maximize their potential and efforts towards social constructs.
